Nothing is sold to visitors

There is no subscription, no paid membership and no paywalled result. A visitor cannot spend money on this site.

What is sold

• Sponsorship of a game page, a weekly report or a community question, sold to brands.
• Contextual affiliate placements, where a commission may be paid to us by the merchant at no extra cost to the visitor.
• Aggregate community insight for studios and agencies, planned for a later stage.

How a sponsorship is billed

Sponsorship is agreed in writing before anything appears on the site. The agreement states the placement, the dates and the price. Invoices are issued in advance of the campaign unless the agreement says otherwise.

Payments are processed by a merchant of record, which appears on the payer statement and handles applicable sales tax and VAT.

Refunds

• If a campaign has not started, it can be cancelled for a full refund.
• If a campaign has started and we fail to deliver the agreed placement, the unserved portion is refunded on a pro rata basis.
• Sponsorship never buys a result. A refund is not available on the grounds that a poll result was not the one the sponsor wanted.
